A Transatlantic Immersion in the Netherlands

Some learning experiences stay with you long after they end.
CEP3 is a rare opportunity to step out of routine and into a week of deep learning, perspective, and inspiration, supported by horses and shaped by place. Set in the Netherlands and completed in the United States, this program combines professional mastery with cultural immersion, reflection, and shared experience.

You will explore corporate coaching through the lens of living systems, leadership responsibility, and human-centered design — while learning alongside others who are curious, thoughtful, and serious about doing this work well.

This is education, practice, and discovery woven together.
A journey that expands how you see your work, yourself, and the systems you move within.

Who This Program Is For

Is This Program for You?This program may be a good fit if you:

  • Want to deepen your mastery as a coach working with leaders, teams, or organizations
  • Are energized by learning that happens through deep experience, place, and conversation
  • Enjoy combining serious study with curiosity, movement, and reflection
  • Are inspired by different cultural perspectives on leadership and systems
  • Value integrity, depth, and thoughtful practice over quick fixes

This program may not be a good fit if you are:

  • Looking for a purely technical or classroom-based training
  • Expecting a luxury retreat or passive experience
  • Uncomfortable with learning through uncertainty, exploration, and dialogue
  • Interested mainly in credentials rather than growth and understanding
CEP3 is for people who want to learn deeply, think clearly, and return home changed — not just informed, but inspired and better equipped to serve others.

What Makes CEP3 Different

CEP3 is not about teaching tools or scripts.
It is about learning how to hold space when stakes are high, when power dynamics are present, and when decisions affect more than one person.
In this program, you will learn how to:
  • Work with leadership presence and authority
  • Read group and organizational dynamics accurately
  • Use horses to reflect coherence, alignment, and pressure
  • Support decision-making without rescuing or directing
  • Stay grounded and ethical in complex coaching situations
The work is practical, embodied, and directly transferable to corporate and organizational contexts.

CEP3 focuses on corporate and organizational coaching supported by horses, with a strong emphasis on clarity, ethics, and real-world applicability.

The program takes place in the Netherlands, a country shaped by long-term thinking, cooperative systems, and human-centered policy. Learning in this context allows participants to experience first-hand how leadership, land, economy, and culture interact — and what that means for coaching inside complex systems.

Program Structure

Phase 1 – Preparation and Orientation (Online)
Before traveling, participants take part in live Zoom sessions that establish a shared foundation.
Topics include:
  • The role of the corporate coach
  • Ethics, boundaries, and professional responsibility
  • The difference between therapy, coaching, and facilitation
  • How horses support systems awareness rather than symbolism
  • Preparing to work with leaders and organizations
This phase ensures clarity and alignment before entering the field.

Phase 2 – Netherlands Immersion (One Week)
The core of the program takes place in the Netherlands.
Participants spend a full week immersed in learning environments that reflect human-centered systems design, both with and beyond horses.

This week includes:
  • Training days at multiple Dutch equine assisted coaching farms
  • Exposure to different operational and cultural approaches to the work
  • Excursion to a Dutch Well Fare Care Farm.
  • Excursion to a Dutch medieval Castle.
  • A visit to a Dutch equine assisted training institute working with leadership and organizations
  • A windmill visit as a living example of coordination, infrastructure, and shared responsibility
  • A museum visit focused on human-centered policy and economic development
  • Nature immersion and reflective time
  • A trail ride or carriage ride through national park de Veluwe.
These experiences are intentionally chosen to deepen understanding of how humans organize themselves — and how coaches can support that process in the corporate realm.

Phase 3 – Integration and Application (United States)
The program concludes with a three-day weekend in Greenville, South Carolina.
Here, the focus shifts to integration and application.

Participants will:

  • Practice corporate coaching with horses
  • Translate European systems insights into the U.S. context
  • Work with leadership dynamics, accountability, and authority
  • Explore professional positioning and ethical application
  • Integrate learning into their own coaching practice
This phase grounds the experience and supports participants in bringing the work home in a responsible and realistic way.

Certification Level : CEP3

This program corresponds to CEP3-level work in depth and responsibility.

Graduates receive certification in Corporate Equine-Assisted Coaching, reflecting advanced training in working with leaders, teams, and systems supported by horses.
Certification is awarded based on participation, engagement, and demonstrated understanding — not performance or persona.

Why the Netherlands

The Netherlands offers a living example of:
  • Long-term planning
  • Cooperative systems
  • Integrated land use
  • Human-centered economic and policy design
Learning in this environment helps coaches understand leadership not only as individual behavior, but as something shaped by conditions, structures, and culture.
This perspective is essential for anyone working with organizations today to understand how organization shape behavior systemically and how to address this.

Practical Information

  • Combination of online and in-person learning
  • International travel required
  • Small cohort size for depth and safety
  • Tuition reflects access-oriented professional training
Dates, tuition, and logistical details are shared upon inquiry.

Is this for you?

This program may be a good fit if you:
  • Work with leaders, executives, teams, or organizations
  • Are curious about how systems, culture, and context shape human behavior
  • Want to use horses to support clarity and coherence, not performance or symbolism
  • Care about ethics, boundaries, and professional responsibility
  • Are willing to slow down, reflect, and think deeply about your role as a coach

This program may not be a good fit if you are:

  • Looking for quick tools or formulas
  • Interested primarily in personal development rather than professional coaching
  • Expecting horses to “do the work” for you
  • Unwilling to sit with complexity or uncertainty

CEP3 is designed for people who want to do this work carefully, responsibly, and with respect for both humans and horses.
