Group Workshops: Maximum Impact | Meaningful Connection
Looking to nurture connection and unlock your group’s potential? We’re here to guide you. Our group workshops offer a safe, inspiring space where your people can explore new ways of growing together, supported by the wisdom of our gentle herd in the Upstate of SC.
Why horses? Because they understand relationships at their core. Horses naturally sense and reflect group dynamics, offering unique insights that help teams build trust, enhance communication, and foster genuine collaboration.
A journey of growth. These workshops are about more than just problem-solving—they’re about discovering deeper alignment, creating meaningful connections, and building a foundation for lasting success individually and collectively. They are a great fit for grief groups, substance recovery groups, family groups, foster family groups and school groups.

"Attending this workshop was eye-opening. I realized how important it is to meet myself and others where we are, especially during tough times. I’ve learned to take a step back, prepare, and give myself space for self care and growth. The herd helped me see how we can support one another AND hold each other accountable in our personal journeys. It was a powerful experience—something unlike any other, with a new approach that allowed me to observe myself and others in a way that felt real." Jennie W.

- In an enclosed arena with unbridled horses and life-sized props like barrels, cones, and hoops, participants are invited to engage with the horses in a unique, hands-on way.
- After a brief introduction and safety guidelines, groups are introduced to the herd, with each assignment tailored to your group’s focus—whether that’s self-leadership, self-agency, or personal growth.
- Groups work together, brainstorming and experimenting within a set time, and the horses respond based on the group’s energy, intention, and connection.
- Horses give honest, nonverbal feedback, showing the group’s alignment and energy through cooperation, indifference, or resistance. Their response isn’t based on status, but on the authenticity of the group’s intent in the moment.
- Regular reflection breaks allow participants to assess what’s working, adjust their approach, and test new methods—receiving real-time feedback from the horses to refine and align their actions.
- By the end of the session, people walk away with greater clarity, renewed confidence, and an improved ability to connect with themselves and others in meaningful ways.

"I learned a lot about myself and a lot about the team. I also learned I am super uncomfortable with uncertainty. I use knowledge to inoculate often, and tend to eject or freeze when I can’t. Learning the language between two brain states was huge. It has given me great language and a great way to check in with others and with myself." Faith A.
"This workshop was a turning point for me. It made me realize there are parts of myself I’ve been hiding or ignoring, and now I know I have the power to choose how I show up in difficult moments. I learned that how I handle situations doesn’t have to be reactive—it can be a choice. The horses help me be more present, more intentional, and a stronger support for others, both in my personal life and in the way I connect with those around me."" Jeff D.
